What kinds of jobs hire 14 year olds?

Most of my friends are 15, 16+ and I am 14. I really would like a job, but nowhere hires anyone that is younger than 15. Does anyone know what types of jobs would hire a 14 year old high school freshman?

You can always self employ yourself if you have at least a bit of investment money, such as making little artsy crafts and selling them online even without a credit card (craigslist is your friend).
Make sure you dont get taken advantage of, such as pyramid schemes and strictly commission based pay; look for hourly jobs for 14 year olds.
But the best investment you can make is in school and athletics and other activities. If you get into college, your grades can get you a ton of free $ even if you are not a 4.0 student. Here’s what i got every year in college in federal aid and local scholarships even though my GPA was 3.3:Freshman yr 4000, Soph yr 8000, Jr yr 12000, and Sr yr 16000.
Just build up your resume with long term activities, and just consider that a job with future payment.
Athletics is such a benefit as a HS student, dont lose out on the opportunities. If you get cut from one sport, just try out for the next one, no big deal. The smaller sports are always looking for people, even though you may be terrible at it. There was a scholarship in my school where if you participated in 3 sports as a Senior, you qualified for a scholarship.
I was stupid and tried to get a job in my senior year, so i only did 2 sports and didn’t qualify. (i probably would have gotten awarded). Then my employer Papa Johns had a scholarship for HS seniors and i was not qualified for that one either because of my employment there (i probably would have gotten that too). Thats at least $1000 i missed out on because i thought i needed job experience.

So dont rush anything unless you are going homeless, and dont invest too much time in your first job, diversify.
